This year, at Nexes Interculturals, we are receiving several groups of young people from different parts of Europe who, participating in European programs, have the opportunity to do professional internships in local companies in Barcelona. Right now we have a group from Italy that will be here for four months, developing skills both personally and professionally.
With these groups we are validating and recognizing their learning through digital badges, on the digital platform Cities of Learning. This platform allows users to develop skills of different types and achieve digital badges that recognize these skills. We do it from playlists that contain different tasks. Each task focuses on a specific skill, such as communication in another language, autonomy, money management or resources during a stay abroad.
Through the project “Quality label for badge recognition” we want to create a quality stamp for the digital badge of recognition of learning and acquired competences.
