In May we started piloting a project called Quality Label for badge recognition. In this project, our goal is to establish a quality standard for Open Badges issuers who seek better quality and wider recognition of learning activities and outcomes.
It is a KA2 project developed by Breakthrough Foundation (Netherlands), TiPovej! (Slovenia), Nectarus (Lithuania), Assonur Association (Sardenia, Italy), Nexes (Spain), BalkanIdea Novi Sad (Serbia).
The first partnership meeting of the project was held in Barcelona. During the meeting we were able to take the first steps in:
- draw up a vision of a European strategy for the recognition of digital badges;
- plan a path towards this vision: objective, objectives, areas of action, target groups;
- brainstorming about the role of the Quality Label in the European Strategy.
This project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and supported by Cities of Learning.
