The game
Manipulator is a game to reflect on one of the most important problems today: the proliferation of fake news, disinformation and media manipulation.
Each player or team must collaborate and share what they know to discover what news is fake and which is true. But be careful! The bets will be blind! Therefore, they can always make everyone else believe that they will vote for something and end up doing something else in their own interests.
The great versatility of this game allows you to make several short games (30 minutes per game) of news (fakes or not) of different themes: immigration, environment, gender … You can even play with news (true and fakes) from the environment itself and/or the center!
How we work
An expert in the subject and with experience facilitating the game will come to your center. In all cases we require the presence of a trained workshop expert to ensure the veracity of the contents and the quality of the educational experience.
Objectives
- Reflect on the proliferation of fake news, misinformation and media manipulation.
- Learn what fake news is and how they affect the belief system itself.
- Define strategies to inform oneself with a greater degree of veracity.
