The journey of Migrantour Barcelona continues. Last October we embarked on the first in-person journey of the Migrantour Sustainable Routes project. Organized and hosted by De Voorkamer in Utrecht from the 1st to the 3rd of October. The first months of the project were challenging as we had to do all the European management on a virtual basis due to the constraints of the pandemic. Fortunately, after six months we were able to meet in person. Three days in which we were able to advance and share the strategic lines of the project.

We also worked on the transfer mechanisms of Migrantour’s values and prepared the new Migrantour cities to recruit, train and co-create tourist routes. The experience and resilience of leading cities Lisbon with Renovar a Mouraria, Brussels with Alter Brussels, Milan with ACRA and Liubiana with Terra Vera form the perfect tandem with the enthusiasm and creativity of Copenhagen with Crossing Borders, Barcelona with Nexes and Utrecht with de Voorkamer .

On a local level, we further strengthened the connections and hosted the first intercultural dinner where we enjoyed a delicious dinner from around the world while connecting their life stories.
