Fotocomunitat – Noves Normalitats al Poble-sec

FotoComunitat-Noves normalitats al Poble-sec is a community photography project where seven young people from five different countries living in the neighborhood or other neighborhoods of the city have portrayed the neighbors of Poble Sec.

For a month, from January 23 to February 20, you can enjoy the exhibition for free in the courtyard of the Center Cívic El Sortidor. In the photographs you can see how the pandemic has affected businesses, the way of socializing, the loneliness of the elderly, activism or the transformation of daily life on the streets. An exhibition that wants to claim the inclusive and intercultural character of the neighborhood.

Come discover the new normalities that are breathed and observe the different points of view of these young people. Connect with the emotions and feelings of the neighborhood.

A project developed by the Nexes Cooperative that is dedicated to education for peace, international mobility and sustainable social transformation. The project has been financed by the Barcelona City Council.
